6. Define Extra Rules

Extra Rules allow you to define automated actions that are triggered in response to specific events during a conversation. Access the dedicated section in the Bookli platform to get started.

  • Access to the Extra Rules Section: Find and open the 'Extra Rules' section within the settings of the specific task you are configuring.

  • Understanding Events and Actions:

    • Events: Events can include the arrival of a new lead, receiving a message, booking an appointment, etc.

    • Actions: Available actions include sending emails, adding/removing tags, setting wait times, sending follow-ups, and more.

STEP 2: Setting Specific Actions Choose and configure actions based on the events you want to monitor and manage.

  • Sending Emails:

    • Configure Bookli to send an automatic email when a specific event occurs, such as scheduling an appointment.

  • Managing Tags:

    • Set up the addition or removal of tags based on events such as changing an existing tag or the arrival of a new lead.

  • Setting Wait Times:

    • Define a waiting interval before sending the first message or between subsequent messages, for example:

      • Wait 5 minutes before sending the first message.

      • Wait 1 minute before responding to the lead.

  • Follow Up:

    • Schedule one or more follow-up messages if the lead does not respond to the first message.

  • Appointment Reminders:

    • Configure a reminder to be sent a certain number of minutes or hours before the scheduled appointment.

  • Sending Data:

    • Establish the automatic sending of lead data to specific external platforms like Zapier or Make when an event such as scheduling an appointment or exceeding a timeout occurs.

STEP 3: Configuration Examples Here are some practical scenarios on how you might configure the Extra Rules:

  • Scenario 1: Follow Up Activation:

    • If the lead does not respond within a certain time interval, you could set up an automatic follow-up to keep the conversation active.

  • Scenario 2: Integration with External Platforms:

    • Send lead data to Zapier when they schedule an appointment, allowing you to automate further actions within your technology stack.
